“ It was a very quiet restaurant and we were initially concerned with our choice. But were we ever surprised by delicious sushi! We loved what we had and would absolutely do this again and again. Loved the super fresh sushi. ”
“ Cute little sushi spot in Davis! The service and sushi were both really good and their yakisoba noodles were amazing! ”
“ The sushi here is delicious probably the best sushi I've had in Davis. It's definitely not a Mikuni's (atmosphere). It's a small restaurant in a small strip mall sort of a hidden gem with a few people working nothing fancy. But the sushi is great and is bigger than most other places. You'll likely get full on 1 roll or maybe even half. The miso soup is yummy. Sorry I didn't list the rolls we ordered but we've been here several times and ordered a variety of items and everything was great. ”
“ Very good place, service is decently quick and portions are solid. Very nice people. Food tastes great. ”
“ Amazing service amazing food have been going with them for afew years! Best sushi place in town to be honest! ”
“ The best sushi I've ever had, I drive 45 miles from Folsom for it. I adore them. Fast and tasty, the price is not very expensive ”
“ I called in our order today for the first time - and 45 minutes later, it was ready for pick up. What I hadn't expected was the huge portions and incredible quality of everything we got! All for about $90something: Davis roll gyoza egg custard sweet buns chicken teriyaki california rainbow roll vegetable tempura yam-my roll Fishing roll The menu on Yelp is super helpful since I couldn't find their menu on a website. Everything and I mean everything was delicious! The biggest surprise for me was the sweet buns with egg custard - they were so soft and tender, with a velvety sweet custard that wasn't too eggy. We will definitely be back to try this with red bean and also their pork buns. Again, the sushi portion was huge! And delicious! Just a feast and the price can't be beat. ”
“ I was craving sushi and this hit the spot! This is the new location for Davis Sushi Buffet! And it's a la carte only + they're takeout only now. The inside of the restaurant is just a bunch of tables around the center of the restaurant. It doesn't look fully setup, but they're fairly new to West Davis. Service was quick and they were friendly. The food came out in about 15 minutes. The flavors are pretty similar to their old menu! I ordered a Davis Roll and a Salmon Hand Roll - the fish was fresh and plentiful, but the rice was a little soggy. Overall though, for the price and portion, very valuable and a quick craving satisfied! ”
